MILITARY PSYCHOLOGIST, DR. SARAH FOX is conflicted.  Should she stay or should she go? She took a counseling position at the local Marine Base when her private practice tanked with the stock market in 2008. Her private clients needed to talk but couldn’t pay.  She was hired as a general counseling clinician, but funding shifted, and she now facilitates violent men’s offender groups, victims of sexual and physical assault and informational briefs. Her world has gone from family problem solving to family violence.  It’s called “Family Advocacy”, an Orwellian term for family violence horrors, sexual assault, child abuse, and domestic violence--military style.   She has always spoken her truth and facilitated emotional growth. Not now, she must shut up and turnover the clients who dread seeing her and deny documented assaults.  There is no #TIMESUP or #METOO movement here.  She wants to help, but at what cost?
